Job Summary
Evident, an Xpansiv Company, is seeking a results-oriented Director, Product & Delivery to lead the product, service, and delivery functions supporting environmental market commodities such as renewables, carbon, and fuels. The role covers the Evident registry platform and the wider business and service offering around it, including EAC product code development, process development, accreditation, and the onboarding and support of clients, platform operators, and labelling authorities. It leads the team responsible for delivering this work. This is a hands-on role within a small business unit team, combining leadership and strategic ownership with direct involvement in client work, specifications, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop the Product & Delivery team, setting priorities, objectives, and performance expectations, and building capability across product management, delivery, and client services.
- Own the product roadmap for the Evident registry platform and wider service offering, setting direction and priorities based on client needs, market developments, and business strategy, and keeping stakeholders aligned on it.
- Own work beyond the registry software, including EAC product code development, process development, and accreditations, and the wider business and service side of the Evident offering.
- Act as a senior point of contact for existing clients, providing ongoing support and making sure issues and requests are resolved and fed back into the product roadmap.
- Lead the onboarding of new clients, platform operators, and labelling authorities (DVs), and develop the services they need to operate on the registry.
- Work with the I-TRACK Foundation to accredit and test new clients, platform operators, labelling authorities, and services.
- Plan and execute initiatives for registry clients which include responsibilities such as identifying and shaping new opportunities with existing and prospective clients (for example new markets, EAC product codes, or registry services), scope facilitation, product specifications, and overall delivery to market/client.
- Conceptualize and mature business ideas or concepts into clear, actionable proposals and/or feature requests; this may require distilling a feature request into its underlying functionality to recommend the most fitting implementation approach.
- Collaborate as a leader with clients, commercial or product peers, architecture, and technical teams to structure priorities, allocate resources, communicate or refine business concepts, and challenge implementation approaches as needed.
- Document product specifications with the highest degree of caliber, cataloging both functional and nonfunctional requirements.
- Lead the engineering effort to market, from project inception and client-facing workshops through to status reports, UAT, and go-live efforts, keeping in line with company policy and standards.
- Evaluate the product portfolio from a business and software delivery perspective, with an emphasis on how to best sequence the pipeline and/or develop a business opportunity.
- Establish the success metrics of an initiative at project onset, relying on previous, proven work experiences and current-day research to garner consensus and alignment from cross-functional teams.
- Maintain a general understanding or working knowledge of the IT systems and their connections.
- Champion agile methodology and other standards or tools to gain efficiencies in product specification, UI/UX design, and project management.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
