Job Description

Director, Product Management is responsible for owning the strategic direction for components of our Patient Suite, including defining the vision and overall roadmap prioritization. This role will charter product innovation and support in developing operational strategies to assure successful implementation/execution of company products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing requirements and all activities for a specific IQVIA’s Patient Technology, from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life, ensuring quality standards are met and that the product/s support the company’s overall strategy and goals
  • Specializes in assessing and understanding the market, defining product strategy, vision, and overall roadmap prioritization and planning
  • Details the product specs, prioritizes and translates requirements to story points, and manages engineering backlog
  • Working with product engineering, technical, and procurement activities related to planning, operational, financial, budgeting, and contractual commitments
  • Responsible for driving product innovation.
  • Provides leadership in developing operational strategies to assure successful implementation/ execution of IQVIA's products.
  • Responsible for divisional project financial performance, developing and implementing strategic priorities, leading proposals and acting as Executive oversight for assigned clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in relevant product management
  • 5+ years of experience within the Life Sciences industry
  • Broad Management and Leadership knowledge to lead multiple job areas
  • Proven history of driving changes to best practices and approaches to product management
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with business leaders and technical teams
