The Director, Product Management, Hospitality will be part of the core product management team executing the portfolio strategy for the hospitality line of business within IBS, and report to our VP of Product Management. At IBS, Product roles are inherently cross-functional - you will work closely with counterparts in software engineering, implementations, and operations to ensure we are delivering with high standards. You will facilitate cross-team and cross-customer collaboration. You will be responsible for creating business cases, use cases, roadmap, and agile artifacts. Your efforts will directly enable IBS products to maximize company revenues, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance the value of the Hospitality Line of Business. The ideal candidate will bring deep hospitality domain expertise, a strong understanding of hotel operations and technology ecosystems, and a passion for creating differentiated, user-centric products.
Responsibilities
Product Management
- Lead the business strategy for the CRS Product
- Build strong market differentiation through the product strategy for IBS product iStay (eCommerce, CRS, Call Center, Booking Engine)
- Lead a team of Product Manager and Product Owners
- Leverage AI-driven design principles to create innovative hospitality technology products that enhance guest experiences, streamline operations, and enable data-informed decision-making
- Create buy-in for the product vision both internally at IBS and with customer/partners of IBS
- Participate in competitor and market analysis in identifying product gaps and emerging market needs
- Participate in annual customer meetings/conferences to validate pain points as well as collect key requirements
- Be familiar with agile methodologies and disciplines, especially PDLC process and Strategic Portfolio Management
- Be familiar with AI productivity practices within the product development life cycle
- Act as a subject matter expert in CRS and specify business requirements for the features
- Work closely with the Engineering and Customer Success organizations in executing the business strategy

Business Development Support
- Work with our sales and marketing team in crafting go-to-market as well as marketing strategy resulting in effective pipeline building
- Support our sales and marketing organization in deal pursuits
- Proactively reach out to industry consultants to educate them of iStay value proposition
- Drive RFP Responses, Proposals, and support in sales process including scope definition in contracts
Implementation Support
- Participate in functional sessions with clients
- Understand hospitality clients’ needs / challenges / constraints and articulate the value of IBS solution
- Convince customers to go live with current available functionality to the extent possible
Other Specifics
- Expertise in Hotel Software Ecosystems, mainly PMS, CRS
- Expert knowledge of SaaS product management
- Strong communication skills; fluent in English
- Have senior IT / Business contacts in the hospitality industry
- Must hold a passport, and be available for domestic and international travel
Travel
This position requires frequent travel, up to 50%. Most travel is outside the local area and overnight. Some of the travel is international.
