Director of Project Management

We're growing — and we want someone who wants to grow with us.

Red Peak Consulting is a specialist project controls and programme delivery consultancy working at the sharp end of complex, high-value construction and infrastructure programmes, including major data centre developments. We started with a single UK base, we now deliver across multiple continents, and we're scaling. This is a genuine opportunity to help shape that growth, not just join it.

The Role

As Director of Project Management, you'll take ownership of programme delivery and client relationships across our portfolio, while playing a leading role in business development as we expand our footprint. You'll build and mentor a growing delivery team, set the standard for how projects are run (and controlled), and be a visible face of the business with clients and partners.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading the delivery of complex construction and infrastructure programmes from mobilisation through to close-out: objectives, milestones, budgets, risks and all
  • Owning client relationships and acting as the senior point of contact on major programmes, including in the data centre sector
  • Driving new business development and helping shape our growth strategy
  • Building, leading and mentoring a multidisciplinary project management team as we scale
  • Sharpening our project controls, reporting and methodologies, and helping shape how we structure and grow the business

What we're looking for

  • Substantial experience leading large, complex programmes in construction, infrastructure or engineering, whether consultancy, client-side or contractor
  • A track record of winning and growing client relationships
  • Strong stakeholder management, a firm grip on cost control and forecasting, and the gravitas to operate at senior client level
  • Comfort operating in a smaller, entrepreneurial business where your fingerprints are on outcomes
  • Genuine enthusiasm for building something, not just running it. A relevant degree, PMP, APM or equivalent is welcome.
