Discover International is partnered with a quickly growing UK-based consultancy in their search for a Head of Toxicology.
This role will provide strategic scientific leadership across nonclinical safety and toxicology programmes, while also supporting client relationships, team development, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the toxicology team and provide scientific oversight across client projects
- Advise on nonclinical safety strategy from discovery through development
- Review study designs, data interpretation, risk assessments, and reports
- Act as senior client contact for toxicology and safety matters
- Support regulatory submissions and interactions
- Mentor and develop team members
- Contribute to business development and growth of the toxicology offering

Requirements

- PhD in Toxicology, Pharmacology, or related discipline
- DABT / ERT qualification preferred
- Extensive experience in nonclinical toxicology and drug development
- Previous leadership or senior consultancy experience
- Strong client-facing and commercial skills
- Excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements
