Director - Quality and Learning Innovation
Salary – Permanent – Full time -Monday to Friday- 36 hours – Up to 70,000 per annum depending on qualifications and experience.
Holiday – 35 days per annum plus Bank Holidays
Location – Ware & Broxbourne Campus

We are seeking an exceptional and visionary leader to join Hertford Regional College as our Director of Quality & Learning Innovation. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of teaching, learning and assessment across the College, driving innovation, quality improvement and outstanding learner outcomes. Working in partnership with the Senior Leadership Team, curriculum leaders and key stakeholders, you will influence strategic direction, champion excellence and help deliver our ambition to be recognised as a leading further education provider.

About the Role
- Provide strategic leadership for Quality, Teaching, Learning and Assessment across all areas of College provision, driving outstanding outcomes for learners and apprentices.
- Lead the College's Quality Improvement Strategy and self-assessment processes, embedding a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
- Provide strategic leadership for the College's Initial Teacher Education (ITE) provision, acting as the College nominee during inspections.
- Champion Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, ensuring inclusive practice is embedded across the College.
- Inspire, support and challenge curriculum teams to continually enhance teaching practice and deliver an exceptional learner experience.
- Monitor, analyse and report on quality performance and strategic KPIs, providing recommendations to support continuous improvement to senior leaders and Governors.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, managers and external stakeholders to ensure the College achieves its strategic priorities and delivers sector-leading performance.

About You
- Degree level qualification or equivalent.
- A full teaching qualification.
- Proven track record of delivering outstanding digitally enabled teaching, learning and assessment, whilst working with IT/Curriculum Teams to continually take advantage of the latest technologies.
- Excellent leadership and managerial skills with the ability to drive high performance and measurable outputs through highly effective team cultures.
- A proven track record of providing impact from quality assurance and continuous improvement methods in a cross college or developmental capacity, thus raising academic standards within a FE College.
- Inspection Framework, OFSTED inspection system for FE colleges, and experience of successful OFSTED inspection.
- An experienced observer/ reviewer of teaching, learning and assessment.
