Director – Real Estate Investment
Reporting to the CEO, this key senior role will lead the European Real Estate investment strategy for a London based private Family Office.
Job Purpose
With full responsibility for defining and implementing the real estate strategy, you will be a key figure, advising the Board on all property-related matters. The role holds full accountability for the performance, governance and risk management of the portfolio, ensuring full alignment with the family’s long-term aspirations, and wealth preservation principles. Core focus of the role will be building, managing and optimising a highly selective portfolio of prime UK / European assets (of which a number are within the living sector) in addition to identifying opportunities, overseeing asset performance, and driving strategic portfolio development. The role acts as the key interface between the Board and external advisors, ensuring a disciplined, commercially robust, and forward-looking approach to measured portfolio growth, stewardship and legacy planning, while maintaining flexibility to advise on wider property matters within the Group.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
