The Opportunity

We are looking to hire a Director to join our Regulatory Risk team in our London office. You will be an integral member of a team delivering regulatory, risk and compliance advice and solutions to clients across a variety of industries, including financial services, telecommunications, energy, retail, corporate and government.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Advising clients on the development and implementation of risk frameworks, the assessment of risk programs, and the design of controls and controls testing and uplift
  • Designing and implementing regulatory engagement strategies and regulatory change and compliance programs
  • Overseeing the successful delivery of engagements, including onboarding teams, designing delivery and implementation strategies, managing client relationships, monitoring profitability and budgets, and supervising/coaching the team
  • Taking a key role in business development activities, such as designing and running campaigns, developing client plans, developing and managing bids/proposals, conducting thought leadership, and building internal networks
  • Contributing positively to the culture, growth and development of the Risk Advisory practice and Regulatory Risk team globally

This is a full-time, permanent role based in our London office with hybrid working.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated capability and expertise advising clients on complex regulatory risk and compliance matters and leading key projects within a large consulting firm, with experience working with financial services clients being essential
  • Proven experience building a profitable and successful business through creating, fostering and developing client relationships
  • Experience managing multiple projects throughout their entire engagement lifecycle, including proposals, pre-engagement activities, producing high quality deliverables, conducting stakeholder workshops, issuing final reports and billing
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication with a focus on attention to detail, including deep experience writing business documents such as reports, letters and proposals
  • A proactive approach to identifying and managing risk across your team and client engagements, setting the standard for compliance with the firm's policies and procedures
