Skills And Competencies
- 10+ years of sales / relationship management experience, preferably within the corporate or financial services sector
- Experience working within or selling into professional services firms, with a preference for experience selling data/solutions in KYC, Supply Chain, Trade Credit, or MDM, and AI use cases
- Experience working on large complex transactions and knowledge of the use of AI, MCP, and Smart APIs
- Financial, risk, and data sales experience preferred but not necessary, alongside a solid understanding of the corporate market and its players
- Entrepreneurial drive, urgency, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well in a solution-oriented team and influence outcomes
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision while integrating effectively with sales teams and other internal areas when needed
- Proven sales track record, including influencing key decision-makers during complex, consultative sales processes
- Strong networking skills to identify and develop new business opportunities, with creative problem-solving abilities to diagnose issues and develop solutions
- Fluency in English is essential and a Nordic language is highly preferred

Education
- Degree educated (or equivalent), preferably gained in a finance, business or economics
Responsibilities
The Relationship Manager will manage and expand commercial relationships with Moody’s largest strategic customers in the UK and Nordic Region focusing on renewing existing business, driving revenue growth through sales strategies, and overseeing all Moody’s Analytics products and solutions except Content Licensing, key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing account commercial strategies and business plans, providing sales forecasts and pipeline information to management
- Maintaining knowledge of industry trends and practices in credit, risk management, KYC/financial crime, finance, and regulatory compliance
- Building familiarity with client organizations and processes to guide them toward appropriate MA solutions
- Acting as the point of contact for C-Level executives, i.e. Managing Partners, Chief Data and Technology Officers, etc. to foster trusted advisor relationships
- Organizing over 200+ client meetings annually and representing MA at industry events
- Generating, qualifying, and converting leads through networking, prospecting, and sales campaigns, including cross-selling at existing accounts
- Collaborating globally across teams, leveraging negotiation strategies to close sales, and introducing leads to other business units when appropriate
- Developing and forging partnership and alliance programs to expand the channels of distribution of Moody’s products and services
- This position offers a dynamic work environment, requiring up to 50% travel to engage with clients face-to-face, while also providing the flexibility of hybrid working

About The Team
The Professional Services Strategic Account sales team at Moody’s Analytics is responsible for driving growth across the company’s most important and complex client relationships within the Professional Services Segment Globally. By joining this team, you will play a key role in expanding Moody’s presence in the European & Global consultancy market, working with senior stakeholders, and contributing to innovative, data-driven and AI-enabled solutions that support client success.
