In this role you’ll partner closely with regional Heads of Development, Divisional Managing Directors and operational teams to identify retention risks, strengthen strategic asset relationships and lead work-out situations across both franchise and management agreements. Through strong market relationships and commercial insight, you’ll help improve and retain IHG’s existing contracts while supporting long-term portfolio performance.
This position is based in Windsor, UK, operating on a hybrid basis with three office/travel days and two home working days.

Your day-to-day
You’ll manage complex owner, contract and asset management situations, including renewals, renegotiations, ownership changes, and retention risks. Working closely with both internal and external stakeholders supporting strong commercial outcomes for IHG.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading renewal and retention activity across existing IHG hotels.
- Identifying portfolio risk and supporting mitigation plans.
- Managing negotiations across franchise, management and related agreements.
- Supporting ownership changes and contract restructures.
- Building relationships with owners, investors, brokers and internal stakeholders.
- Managing projects from evaluation through to signing.

What we need from you
You’ll bring strong commercial judgement, confidence in complex negotiations and experience in either hotel real estate, asset management or investment.
You’ll also have:
- Strong understanding of hotel contracts, deal structures and owner relationships.
- Excellent financial, commercial and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects.
- A proactive, resilient and solutions-focused approach.
- Fluent English; additional European languages would be highly desirable.
