The Opportunity👇
We are working with a high-growth events business that is building a major international platform at the intersection of science, health, technology, business and consumer experience.
Following a highly successful inaugural event in London, the business is entering an exciting new phase of growth. The next stage will involve scaling the flagship UK event while simultaneously launching a new edition in the US.
We are looking for an exceptional Event Director to take ownership of this next chapter.
This is not a traditional event-management role. You will have significant responsibility for the strategy, commercial growth, content, partnerships, audience experience and operational delivery.
The Role
You will own the event portfolio across the UK and US, working closely with senior leadership and a network of influential partners, speakers, sponsors and industry stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include:
Strategy & Vision
- Develop and own the strategic roadmap for the event across multiple international markets.
- Define and evolve the event proposition, format and audience experience.
- Shape compelling content that brings together scientific, commercial and consumer perspectives.
- Identify opportunities to differentiate the brand and establish it as a leading international platform.
International Expansion
- Lead the launch of a major new US edition from the ground up.
- Adapt an established UK proposition to a new market, audience and commercial environment.
- Develop the venue, supplier, production and partnership ecosystem required for successful international delivery.
- Build a roadmap for further international expansion.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
