What It's All About
Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) team creates and delivers products to Visa’s Commercial clients. VCS provides an opportunity for Visa to diversify revenue with differentiated products that deepen customer relationships and deliver innovation across networks. VCS has ambitious growth plans, with the expectation to more than double the business over the next five years. A key part of this growth will come from small businesses, where we will accelerate growth in new, untapped or high opportunity areas.
Based in the Visa Europe hub, this role is a critical component to future growth. You will join the Small Business team within Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS), focused on accelerating SMB revenue and strengthening Visa’s SMB solutions with existing clients. This role will be responsible for ensuring our signed and live partners achieve their growth aspirations alongside Visa as a strategic partner. You will partner with account executives across European markets focused on a defined list of large and high growth clients across both tier 1 Banks and Fintechs. You will bring the best of Visa’s products, know-how and best practice to maximise their launch and enable them to scale.

In addition to deep payments knowledge, the successful applicant will be strategic, creative and commercial whilst demonstrating strong leadership skills.
Travel for client meetings and industry events will be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first and second level support across a defined group of existing clients, building strong relationships and supporting the clients to launch and scale the Visa card programs.
- Represent the SMB team at regular client reviews, tracking business performance and advising on opportunities to scale the business.
- Partner across the Visa business, in particular with Visa Consulting and Analytics to bring the optimal support to our clients in order to deliver material new spend in the programmes.
- Conduct research, market mapping, and opportunity sizing to identify areas where Visa can add differentiated value.
- Be a deep subject-matter expert on the SMB segment, closely tracking industry trends, competing solutions and advising on the next generation of SMB payment solutions.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of the SMB ecosystem, including the roles of banks, financial institutions, software platforms and B2B payments providers.
- Knowledge of relevant SMB payment solutions, including virtual cards, accounts payable and receivable solutions, and APIs.
- Experience in a relationship management, product, solutioning, commercial role serving SMB clients.
- Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills, with credibility across clients, partners, cross-functional teams and senior leaders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, commercial judgement, self-direction and accountability.
- Collaborative mindset and a strong track record of effective cross-functional working.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams across a matrix organisation.
- Fluent English; another European language is advantageous.
