See What You Can Do With Prophix
Finance teams across 100+ countries use Prophix One™ to replace manual processes with intelligent planning, reporting, and automation. We are a globally connected team with deep UK roots and we are growing. If you are looking for a role where your work reaches customers across industries and borders, and where the people around you are invested in doing great work, this is worth reading.
We have teams and offices across the UK, Europe, North America, and Australia. Trusted by more than 3,000 finance teams across 100+ countries, Prophix One™ is built for organisations that want to plan smarter and move faster.
As Director of Solution Engineering for EMEA, you will lead the team that sits closest to the customer's world — guiding finance leaders through the discovery of their most pressing challenges and engineering the proof that Prophix can solve them. Your team is the bridge between prospect ambition and the Prophix One platform capabilities.
This is a commercial leadership role with regional weight. You will build, coach, and scale a high-performing team of Solution Engineers across Europe as well as work closely with your Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Professional Services counterparts in the region to ensure we are delivering on the vision we shaped with our prospects & customers. This is a role for someone who wants to make an impact at a company where the product is strong, the customer base is real, and the opportunity to leave a visible mark is significant. You'll have the backing of a PE-supported global business and the autonomy to shape how the EMEA pre-sales motion looks like for years to come.
Requirements
What You Will Do
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of Solution Engineers across EMEA, building an environment where continuous growth, accountability, and customer obsession are the norm. You'll recruit, coach, and retain talent that can meet finance leaders where they are and show them a better way forward.
- Drive regional growth — your team's contribution to pipeline and closed revenue is the ultimate measure of success. You'll partner with Sales, Customer Sales & Channel Alliance leadership to ensure Solution Engineering effort is focused where it will have the greatest commercial impact.
- Be a visible presence on strategic deals, joining your team in front of CFOs, Controllers, and senior finance leaders when the stakes are highest. Your credibility in the room — both technical and commercial — will shape how prospects experience Prophix at the moments that matter most.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Success, Product and Professional Services to ensure what we promise in the pre-sales cycle is grounded in what we can deliver — and that customer insights from the field flow back into how we build, position, and go to market.
- Drive consistency and quality across how the team discovers, demonstrates, and proves value — building repeatable frameworks, playbooks, and assets that raise the ceiling for what EMEA Solution Engineering can deliver at scale.
- Stay ahead of the market, tracking CPM/EPM trends, competitive movements, and evolving customer priorities across European markets — and feeding those insights back into product, sales strategy, and enablement.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
