Role Description

The Director Sponsorship Sales is a part-time, remote role responsible for driving sponsorship revenue across Summits Connect’s portfolio of events. This role oversees the end-to-end sponsorship sales process, including prospecting, pitching, and closing deals with corporate partners and industry stakeholders.   • Identifying and qualifying potential sponsors
  • Developing tailored sponsorship proposals
  • Delivering compelling sales presentations that align sponsor objectives with event offerings
  • Managing negotiation of sponsorship contracts
  • Maintaining strong relationships with existing partners
  • Collaborating with marketing and event teams to ensure sponsor deliverables are fulfilled
  • Monitoring market trends, refining sponsorship packages, and contributing to strategic planning to expand Summits Connect’s sponsorship ecosystem

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise in Sponsorship Sales and Sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strong ability to deliver persuasive Sales Presentations and communicate value propositions to executive-level stakeholders.
  • Experience building and managing Strategic Partnerships that support long-term event and business growth.
  • Proficiency in Contract Negotiation, including structuring sponsorship agreements and securing favorable terms.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfort working independently in a remote environment, with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Knowledge of events, conferences, or B2B environments is highly beneficial; experience in global or cross-industry markets is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
