Job Description Summary

We are seeking a strategic and execution focused Director, SPRITE to support the development and delivery of brand strategy across Europe. This role plays a critical part in translating global and regional brand direction into strong local execution, driving growth, consumer relevance, and commercial performance.

Reporting into the Senior Director, the Director will lead key components of the brand agenda, work closely with cross functional partners, and contribute to innovation, integrated marketing, and in market execution. This role requires strong collaboration across regional, local, and global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Support and Deliver Brand Strategy

  • Contribute to the development of the Europe brand strategy in partnership with the Senior Director and Global teams.
  • Translate consumer, cultural, and market insights into actionable brand initiatives, positioning, and campaign strategies.
  • Support the development and execution of cohesive brand plans and end to end consumer and shopper engagement programs.
  • Provide input into “shadow P&L” discussions by analyzing performance drivers and supporting investment recommendations.

Drive Innovation and Integrated Marketing

  • Lead defined elements of multiyear innovation and renovation pipelines, from concept development through launch.
  • Own the delivery of annual and multiyear integrated marketing and experience (IMX) plans, including communications, digital, experiential, and instore activation.
  • Ensure high quality creative execution through strong briefs, agency collaboration, testing, in partnership with brand XP team.
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness, stronger engagement plans, and operational efficiency.

Enable Strong In-Market Execution

  • Support the development of brand calendars and manage assigned Direct Marketing Expense (DME) budgets in line with agreed priorities.
  • Partner with bottling, commercial, customer, and channel teams to ensure effective in-market execution across channels.
  • Contribute to route-to-market and shopper marketing initiatives that drive brand performance.

Performance Management and Continuous Improvement

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators including volume, NSR, brand health, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Apply a test and learn mindset, using insights and data to optimize plans and recommend course corrections.
  • Support post launch and post campaign evaluations to strengthen future performance.

Leadership and Collaboration

  • Lead, coach, and develop project teams, fostering strong engagement and performance.
  • Work effectively across functions and geographies, building trusted relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Model strong collaboration, learning agility, and consumer centric thinking.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA a plus).
  • 8–12 years of progressive marketing experience within FMCG or a consumer driven industry.
  • Proven experience working on large brands and delivering integrated marketing programs.
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience, either through direct reports or project/team leadership.
  • Strong capabilities in brand strategy, innovation, creative development, and integrated marketing execution.
  • Solid commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and contributing to ROI driven decision making.
  • Understanding of channel and shopper marketing, eCommerce, and route to market execution.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate insights into clear actions.
  • Effective communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work across functions and seniority levels.

Compensation

For Austria

  • Base Salary: 91,900 E to 132,000 E

For Italy

  • Base Salary: 71,700 E to 107,000 E

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.

  • Annual Incentive Reference Value Percentage: 30%

Annual incentive reference value is a market-based competitive value for your role. It falls in the middle of the range for your role, indicating performance at target.
