Description

Help build iWaaS™, SSWG's new industrial water division

Seven Seas Water Group is launching iWaaS™, our new industrial Water-as-a-Service® (WaaS®) division, and we're looking for a Director, Strategic Partnerships & Corporate Development to build its channel-partner program from the ground up: EPC and engineering firms, water and wastewater technology providers, and chemical water treatment companies, an initial mapped universe of nearly 250 prospective partners. You'll turn relationships that are already inside the plants we want to build into live, revenue-generating partnerships, and you'll do double duty sourcing the acquisition targets that strengthen iWaaS™'s Design-Build-Own-Operate-Maintain (DBOOM) capability. This is a remote role, with a strong preference for candidates based in Houston, Tampa, or another hub near our target accounts.

Who We Are

Seven Seas Water Group (SSWG) delivers more than 20 billion gallons of water a year to industrial, governmental, municipal, and hospitality customers across the U.S., Caribbean, and Latin America. Through our Water-as-a-Service® (WaaS®) model, we design, build, own, and operate more than 200 water and wastewater treatment plants, taking on the capital and operational risk so our customers don't have to. SSWG is a portfolio company of EQT, a global investment firm with more than three decades of experience building essential infrastructure.

What You'll Own

You'll own and grow iWaaS™'s channel-partner program across three segments: EPC and engineering firms, water and wastewater technology providers, and chemical water treatment companies. Hundreds of companies already touch the exact plants we want to build for, so this isn't a market you have to invent from scratch. It's a mapped universe of nearly 250 prospective partners waiting to be converted into revenue, and you'll be the one building the program that converts them.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The pitch differs by segment, but the logic holds. For EPC firms and technology providers, you'll often be picking up a design or proposal that stalled because the end customer couldn't fund construction, and showing them what our balance sheet unlocks: their engineering and equipment stay in the solution, and the project gets built. For chemical water treatment companies, you'll build recurring-revenue alliances, so every plant we build and operate keeps a partner's chemical relationship running for the life of the contract.

This is also a relationship-sourcing role for our M&A pipeline. The same conversations that build channel-partner deal flow, with consulting engineers, EPC principals, and technology-provider executives, routinely surface companies we evaluate as acquisition tuck-ins for iWaaS™. You'll move fluidly between a partnership conversation and a partnership-or-acquisition-sourcing conversation, often in the same call, and you'll maintain a live target pipeline in coordination with our corporate development function and executive leadership. You'll also represent iWaaS™ at the industry events where these relationships get built.

Requirements

What you bring

  • 12 to 18 years in channel or partnership development, M&A sourcing, or strategic alliances within industrial services, engineering (EPC), or environmental infrastructure
  • A track record building indirect origination channels through EPC firms, equipment OEMs, or engineering consultancies, and converting those relationships into revenue, not just introductions
  • Comfort operating as both a relationship-builder and a disciplined pipeline tracker across a long-cycle sourcing and sales motion spanning dozens of partners at a time
  • A strong communicator, credible in front of EPC principals and technology-provider executives as well as our own corporate development and executive leadership

Existing relationships at major engineering, EPC, or water technology firms, and prior exposure to M&A sourcing or corporate development, are both a plus, not a requirement.

Why this role

This is a ground-floor seat. iWaaS™ is a new division, and you'd be one of the people who defines how it wins its first partners and its first tuck-in acquisitions, not someone inheriting a program already in motion. You'll have real visibility with SSWG's corporate development function and executive leadership from day one. If you want to build a revenue engine from a mapped opportunity, for a company solving one of the world's hardest infrastructure problems, this is that seat.
