Location of role: Leeds, England, United Kingdom (Hybrid - 2 days WFH)
Who are Christie & Co?
We’re the leading specialist advisor for buying and selling businesses in our sectors - hotels, pubs, restaurants, childcare, healthcare, convenience retail, leisure, and medical.
Where we work
We employ the largest team of sector specialists in the UK and the largest group of hotel specialists in Europe, providing professional brokerage and advisory services from offices in major cities across Britain and Europe. And because we’ve been doing this for over 80 years, we know our sectors and local markets inside out. We work closely with our clients to guide and conclude transactions of any size, covering hotels, restaurants and pubs, leisure, forecourts and convenience retail businesses, social care and elderly care, childcare & education facilities, dental practices, and pharmacies.
Purpose of the Role
To provide valuation services across the Hospitality sector, providing advice and valuations on businesses and going concern properties primarily in Yorkshire and the North. Working as a key member of the valuation team of experts to build strong relationships with major clients, banks, investors, accountants, and operators.
Working Relationships and Contacts
You will work within a team of Valuers who form a national team of specialist hospitality experts. Our brand, company reputation, and market knowledge will help you to open doors and become a trusted advisor for clients to rely upon with confidence. You will also work closely with Christie Group company colleagues to cross-sell and gain business.
About the Team and why you should join us:
The primary focus of the role will be on the provision of RICS Red Book valuation reports in respect of hospitality properties. These are predominantly hotels. Whilst the position is to focus on Leeds and Yorkshire, the team runs larger jobs and portfolios further afield. This may include nationwide and international travel for the right candidate.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
