About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on, proactive and collaborative Director of Talent Acquisition to lead recruitment across BW ESS’s European markets, covering a broad range of functions and levels.

This role goes beyond managing vacancies. You will partner closely with business leaders, hiring managers and the People team to anticipate talent needs, shape effective hiring strategies and deliver high-quality talent. You will also bring market insight, challenge requirements where appropriate and help build consistent, scalable hiring practices as BW ESS grows.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in London, UK, reporting to the Chief People & Culture Officer.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Attraction

  • Own end-to-end recruitment across multiple European markets, from intake and sourcing through assessment, offer and handover to onboarding.
  • Develop targeted sourcing strategies and talent pipelines for current, recurring and strategically important roles.
  • Conduct structured candidate assessments and provide clear, evidence-based recommendations to support hiring decisions.
  • Ensure a high-quality, efficient experience for candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
