Travel Remit: Global

Travel Required: Less than 20%

Location: NorAm, Latam, UKI & Europe

Lead the Technical Design and Development function, driving the delivery of scalable, high-quality solutions across Oracle ERP and related enterprise applications. Accountable for translating complex business and finance requirements into robust technical solutions, this role oversees the full development lifecycle, from solution design and architecture through to delivery, support, and continuous improvement.

Working closely with business, Finance, and IT stakeholders, you will ensure technology solutions align with global strategic priorities while promoting best practices in development, integration, performance, security, and support. As a technical leader, you will drive innovation, delivery excellence, and operational efficiency, leading teams to deliver reliable, future-ready solutions that enable business growth and transformation.

Your key accountabilities include:

Strategy & Delivery

  • Define and execute the technical delivery strategy aligned with business, Finance, and IT objectives.
  • Lead the successful delivery of technical solutions, ensuring quality, scalability, and business value.
  • Manage delivery priorities, resources, budgets, risks, and roadmaps.

Solution Design & Development

  • Oversee solution architecture, technical design, development, integration, and testing activities.
  • Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Drive best practices and continuous improvement across the development lifecycle.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Partner with senior business, Finance, and IT leaders to shape and deliver technology solutions.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and delivery partners to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Communicate delivery progress, risks, and key decisions to stakeholders.

Leadership & Governance

  • Lead and develop high-performing technical teams and external resources.
  • Establish and maintain technical standards, governance, and compliance with IT policies.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence.

What are we looking for from you?

  • Proven ability to recruit, lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams, driving collaboration, performance, and successful delivery of business objectives.
  • Extensive experience in Oracle application development and support, including Oracle Cloud solutions, covering business analysis, solution design, development, implementation, integration, and continuous enhancement of enterprise applications.
  • Advanced PL/SQL programming skills, with experience developing and optimising complex database solutions.
  • Strong background working within large, complex IT environments, supporting business-critical systems and applications.
  • Proven ability to lead technical delivery, translate business requirements into effective solutions, and drive continuous improvement across the application lifecycle.
  • Solid understanding of Oracle ERP platforms, integrations, support models, and development best practices.
