Location: London
Sector: Corporate Finance – TMT M&A Advisory
Seniority: Director (7+ years’ experience)

We are supporting a leading, globally integrated mid-market investment bank in hiring a Vice President (VP) to join its highly successful Technology, Media & Telecoms (TMT) corporate finance team in London. The firm advises established corporates, prominent private equity investors, and high-growth founders on mid-market M&A transactions, distinguishing itself through deep sector specialization and a highly collaborative, international network.

This is a key leadership appointment within a high-performing team. The successful candidate will not only execute transactions but will also act as a "Deal Captain," driving complex TMT processes from origination to closing. You will play a critical role in shaping the local team culture, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to the commercial expansion of the TMT practice across the UK and international markets.

This is an opportunity to join a respected global platform with a robust pipeline of cross-border mandates, offering the entrepreneurial agility of a specialized sector team combined with the resources and stability of a major international partnership. The ideal candidate brings dedicated M&A execution experience (ideally with TMT sector exposure) from an investment bank, elite advisory boutique, or leading corporate finance practice, alongside strong leadership qualities and the ambition to fast-track toward Director and Partner levels.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
