Town Planning Director seeking an opportunity to advance?
You could play a key role in steering the direction of a well-balanced London planning team from their brand-new office.
Our client is a respected multi-disciplinary consultancy, driven by a genuine appetite for growth, proactive approach to teamwork, and a strong track record of successful delivery across the residential and commercial sectors.
Our client has offices nationwide, so you could gain greater exposure to clients in the regions where the town planning market is most buoyant. With a multi-disciplinary service offering, you could also benefit from internal cross-selling opportunities.
Naturally, you will be expected to generate enough business in your first 12 months to become a cost-neutral hire, before building a revenue stream reflective of the role through contacts of your own and legacy clients.

Your role will involve:
- Fostering new and existing client relationships to generate new business.
- Managing a team of planning consultants.
- Reviewing and reporting to the board on P&L.
- Leading client and design team meetings, and collaborating with multidisciplinary colleagues.
- Project management and budgetary controls on projects.
- Supporting more junior members of staff.
Ideally you will:
- Have over 10 years of experience in town planning and managed the planning application process of major projects across the UK.
- Have excellent communication and written skills.
- Have gained extensive experience in business development to achieve successful outcomes.
- Have a ‘can do’ attitude and be a team player.
