We are working on a Director hire for a growing Transaction Services business in London.
The opportunity is aimed at an established Director or high-performing Associate Director who wants a broader mandate: leading complex Financial Due Diligence assignments, owning senior client relationships and playing a genuine role in winning work and building the practice.
This is a particularly interesting move for someone who has reached the point where they want greater autonomy, visibility and a clearer route towards Partner.
The Role
You will operate as a senior adviser to private equity and corporate clients across buy-side and sell-side transactions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading complex Financial Due Diligence engagements from inception through to completion
- Owning the senior client relationship across live transactions
- Overseeing analysis around earnings, cash flow, working capital, net debt and other key deal considerations
- Translating diligence findings into clear commercial insights that support investment decisions
- Managing and developing engagement teams
- Maintaining quality across multiple concurrent transactions
- Building relationships with private equity funds, corporates and the wider deal community
- Leading pitches and proposals and contributing directly to winning new mandates
- Supporting the continued development of the Transaction Services offering
- Using analytics, automation and emerging technology to improve the way diligence is delivered

What We’re Looking For
- ACA / CA / ACCA qualified or equivalent
- Significant Transaction Services / Financial Due Diligence experience
- Previous UK experience within a Transaction Services / FDD team is essential
- Strong experience advising private equity and/or corporate clients
- A track record of leading complex engagements and senior client conversations
- Experience contributing to business development and new mandate generation
- Strong commercial judgement and the ability to identify the issues that genuinely matter on a transaction
- An entrepreneurial mindset and an interest in helping build a growing capability

The Opportunity
You will work closely with the senior leadership team, have the freedom to build your own market profile and play an active role in how the Transaction Services business develops.
