This role would suit someone coming from a Big 4, Top 10, mid-tier or boutique advisory firm who wants more autonomy, stronger client exposure and the opportunity to play a key role in the growth of a high-quality boutique platform.
You will work directly with Partners, investors, entrepreneurs, private equity clients and corporate acquirers across a range of buy-side and sell-side transactions.

The Role
As Associate Director within Transaction Services / Financial Due Diligence, you will take a senior role in the delivery of Financial Due Diligence and transaction advisory assignments for a varied client base.
You will lead projects from initial scoping through to completion, managing client relationships, coordinating internal and external stakeholders, reviewing financial analysis and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, commercially focused reports.

The role will involve working across buy-side, sell-side, vendor assistance and transaction advisory engagements, helping clients understand the financial performance, risks, opportunities and value drivers of businesses they are acquiring, investing in or preparing for sale.
This is a highly visible role where you will be expected to lead delivery, manage teams, develop client relationships and support the continued growth of the Transaction Services practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead buy-side and sell-side Financial Due Diligence assignments
- Manage transaction advisory projects from planning through to completion
- Review analysis across quality of earnings, working capital, net debt, cash flow and trading performance
- Prepare, review and present Financial Due Diligence reports and client-facing deliverables
- Identify key deal issues, financial risks, opportunities and value drivers
- Manage client relationships throughout the transaction process
- Liaise with private equity, corporate clients, management teams, lawyers, funders and other advisers
- Lead, mentor and develop junior members of the Transaction Services team
- Support Partners with business development, proposals, pitches and client origination
- Contribute to the growth, strategy and market positioning of the Transaction Services practice
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will be an experienced Transaction Services professional with a strong background in Financial Due Diligence.
You may currently be operating at Manager, Senior Manager or Associate Director level within a Big 4, Top 10, mid-tier or boutique advisory firm and looking for a move into a more entrepreneurial, client-facing and senior position.

This role would suit someone who enjoys leading FDD projects, working closely with clients and Partners, and having a meaningful influence on the growth of a boutique advisory team.
Requirements
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification
- Strong experience in Transaction Services, Financial Due Diligence or Deal Advisory
- Proven experience leading buy-side and/or sell-side FDD engagements
- Strong technical understanding of quality of earnings, working capital, net debt and cash flow analysis
- Excellent report writing, financial analysis and client presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple transactions, deadlines and stakeholders
- Strong client relationship skills and confidence advising senior stakeholders
- Experience managing, reviewing and developing junior team members
- Commercial mindset with a genuine interest in M&A, private equity and the wider deals market
- Experience contributing to business development, pitches or client origination would be advantageous
