Director – Hospitality Valuations

Location: Leeds – Hybrid

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an MRICS Chartered Surveyor to join a highly regarded specialist property advisory business as a Director within its established Hospitality Valuations team. This is a senior, client-facing position offering an excellent existing pipeline of work, significant autonomy, and exposure to major banks, investors, operators, and private clients. Assignments range from independent hospitality businesses through to prestigious hotels and major portfolios.

Direct hospitality experience is advantageous but not essential. The business is open to experienced Chartered Valuers from other commercial sectors, with specialist hospitality training available.

The Role

You'll take responsibility for delivering RICS Red Book valuations, predominantly across the hotel sector throughout Yorkshire and the North, alongside opportunities to work on larger national and international assignments. Key responsibilities include:

  • Inspecting and valuing properties and trading businesses
  • Preparing detailed, high-quality valuation reports
  • Managing relationships with banks, investors, operators, and professional clients
  • Developing existing relationships and generating new business
  • Taking ownership of client instructions and individual fee targets
  • Identifying cross-selling and wider business opportunities
  • Working alongside an established national team of specialist valuers

About You

  • MRICS Chartered status – essential
  • Strong post-qualified valuation experience
  • Strong RICS Red Book valuation and report-writing experience
  • Excellent client relationship and communication skills
  • Commercially minded with the ability to contribute to fee generation
  • Strong analytical and numerical ability
  • Hospitality experience desirable, but not essential
