Head of Product and Marketing
As the Head of Product and Marketing, you'll oversee the both the retail product range and marketing strategies, ensuring they align with the business goals. This role is pivotal in driving growth of the product categories by managing product portfolios and leading impactful marketing campaigns.

The business partners with leading international manufacturers, shaping product strategy, portfolio development, pricing and go-to-market execution across a portfolio of premium brands and own-label products. Description
- Own and deliver the overall product strategy and portfolio roadmap, aligned to commercial objectives and long-term growth ambitions.
- Lead product portfolio development, identifying new products, categories and growth opportunities.
- Build strong partnerships with international suppliers to influence product development, range selection and launch priorities.
- Manage the full product lifecycle, from market assessment and launch through to optimisation and rationalisation.
- Analyse sales performance, market trends, customer demand and competitor activity to inform product and category decisions.
- Develop compelling product propositions, positioning and go-to-market strategies in collaboration with commercial teams.
- Lead successful product launches, including pricing, channel strategy, promotional activity and marketing support.
- Monitor product and category performance, using data and reporting to drive commercial decision-making.
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing marketing team focused on growth, innovation and customer engagement.
- Own the overall marketing strategy, delivering integrated campaigns, content, PR and customer engagement activities that strengthen brand awareness and accelerate sales.

Profile
- Proven experience in a senior product management & Marketing role, ideally within a shooting sector or with a share passions for the sport.
- Proven track record of developing and executing product and marketing strategies that deliver measurable commercial growth.
- Strong understanding of product management principles, including range selection, product lifecycle management, market analysis, product positioning and go-to-market planning.
- Experience managing product portfolios and making decisions around product introduction, range expansion and product rationalisation.
- Strong commercial understanding with the ability to balance sales growth, market share, margin and stock investment.
- Proven ability to analyse sales, market and competitor data and translate insights into clear commercial actions.
- Experience working with international brand partners and managing multiple premium brands would be highly desirable.
- Progressive experience in marketing leadership roles across B2B and B2C environments.
- Understanding and hands-on experience with digital marketing principles, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing and content marketing.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Product Management or a related field is desirable.
