🚨 Director / Partner – Exec Search
📍 London | Front-Office Financial Services Search
💰 Exceptional package, commission and equity opportunity
My client is looking to appoint an accomplished Director or Partner to help lead the next stage of its growth.
This is not simply another senior billing role. This is an already established firm with a strong reputation within front-office financial services search, particularly across Investment Banking and M&A. The business is now looking for an experienced Private Equity recruitment specialist who can complement its existing expertise and build a market-leading PE practice.
The opportunity
You will have the autonomy, support and platform to develop the Private Equity offering around your own experience, relationships, and vision. Working closely with the founders, you will play a genuine role in shaping the wider direction of the business while continuing to originate and deliver senior-level mandates. You will be responsible for:
- Building and leading Private Equity recruitment propositions within front office mandates
- Developing relationships with private equity funds and investment businesses
- Winning and delivering retained and senior-level search mandates
- Leveraging and expanding your existing network across the PE market
- Recruiting and developing a specialist team as the practice grows
- Contributing to the strategy, culture, and future direction of the firm

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
