Role Description
The Dispatch Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Cheadle, responsible for overseeing daily dispatch operations and ensuring timely, accurate order fulfillment. This role includes:

The Dispatch Supervisor will maintain dispatch records, verify shipping documents, and ensure compliance with relevant transport and safety guidelines. The role involves close collaboration with warehouse, customer service, and logistics partners to optimize workflows, manage priorities, and support a high standard of customer satisfaction. The individual will also contribute to process improvements, staff training, and performance monitoring to keep operations efficient and reliable.
Qualifications
- Strong supervisory skills and experience leading dispatch or logistics teams.
- Hands-on dispatching experience, including scheduling shipments, routing orders, and coordinating with carriers.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, external partners, and customers.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations or equivalent transport and safety standards relevant to shipping operations.
- Customer service skills, with the ability to handle inquiries, troubleshoot delivery issues, and maintain a professional demeanor.
- Experience in retail, fashion, or e-commerce logistics is advantageous.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Comfort with using dispatch or warehouse management software and basic proficiency in MS Office or similar tools.
- Ability to work on-site in Cheadle, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and support flexible operational demands.
