Dispensing Optician | Luxury Eyewear

Maverick and Wolf Opticians, Chiswick, London
Full-time | In-store

About Maverick and Wolf

Maverick and Wolf is one of London’s leading luxury optical boutiques, bringing together an exceptional selection of over 30 designer eyewear brands with expert optical care and a highly personal approach to service.

Our Chiswick clientele values distinctive design, fine craftsmanship and thoughtful advice. They expect precision, discretion and an experience that feels considered from the first consultation to the final fitting.

We are looking for an accomplished Dispensing Optician who combines technical expertise with creativity, an assured eye for styling and the ability to inspire a team to excellence.

The opportunity

This is an opportunity to work with some of the finest names in eyewear, in a boutique where quality takes precedence over quantity.

You will take the time to understand each client’s prescription, lifestyle and personal style, guiding them towards eyewear that offers exceptional vision, comfort and individuality. Your expertise will bring together the technical and aesthetic aspects of dispensing, helping clients discover frames they feel confident wearing.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
