Dispensing Optician — i2i Optometrists, Glasgow City Centre

c.30-35k + bonus

About us

i2i Optometrists is one of Scotland's premier independent opticians, known for combining clinical excellence with a genuinely luxurious eyewear experience. Our practice stocks an exceptional portfolio of designer brands including Chanel, Cartier, DITA and Face à Face, alongside many more of the world's most sought-after frames, all paired with top-quality lenses from leading manufacturers. We've built our reputation on doing things properly: unhurried appointments, honest advice, and dispensing that puts the patient's needs first every time.

The role

We're looking for a qualified Dispensing Optician with a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience to join our friendly, established team. Day to day, you'll guide patients through frame selection from our designer collections, advise on premium lens options and coatings, take precise measurements, and carry out fittings, adjustments and repairs to the highest standard. You'll manage your dispenses from first consultation through to collection and aftercare, building lasting relationships with a loyal patient base that expects — and appreciates — the very best.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
