Our Brand Portfolio
We have recently revamped our brand portfolio to introduce an exciting range of high-end, luxury optical frames, including Cartier, Lindberg, Maui Jim, Götti, Gucci, Anne et Valentin, and Örgreen.
You will also receive:
- Up to £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)

About the Role
This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a passionate Dispensing Optician to join the expanding team at Niall O’Kane Opticians in Rochester, following a substantial practice refit.
Because we care deeply about patient care, eye examinations are 1 hour long - giving our DOs significantly more time to invest in each patient, understand their visual needs, and deliver a truly bespoke dispensing experience.
With our expanded high-end brand collection, you’ll have the opportunity to get hands-on with frame buying, styling, visual merchandising, and attending brand training sessions led by supplier reps.
Additionally, we are proud to be the first opticians in the UK to host the Nikon Lenswear Vision Atelier - an exclusive, state-of-the-art suite with digital measuring towers that allow for ultra-precise, bespoke lens dispensing to a fraction of a millimetre.

About You
We’re looking for someone special who:
- Is a fully qualified Dispensing Optician registered with the GOC.
- Has a genuine passion for high-end, luxury dispensing and eyewear styling.
- Truly cares about patients and building long-term relationships.
- Is excited to get involved with brand events, frame selection, and merchandising.
- Enjoys using state-of-the-art digital measuring technology to dispense bespoke lenses.
- Is confident, professional, well-organized, and thrives in a supportive team.
Full or part-time considered (minimum 3 days, including Saturdays).
