Are you an experienced Dispensing Optician keen to complete the Contact Lens Optician conversion course? If so, Perth could be the store for you.

Specsavers in Perth are looking for a driven Dispensing Optician to join them on a full or part-time basis and with a focus on development, if your next step is to become a Contact Lens Optician then Perth can support you through this course.

Our store

Based in the beautiful city of Perth, you will be joining a state-of-the-art practice that is modern, bright and new. Boasting 9 optical test rooms over 2 floors you will be impressed with the latest clinical technology and equipment you would have access to. The store is busy and tend to have 8 optical clinics running daily. There is parking available close by to the store and we are accessible with public transport.

Our team

You will be joining a well-structured and trained team of 47 which include experienced Optometrists, Dispensing Opticians and Optical Assistants meaning everyone is in place to let you focus on what you do best. Perth has excellent staff retention with some of our team members being here for 30+ years! Our directors are leading from the front in terms of progression and will support you with extra courses that interest you. If your ambitions are to become a Contact Lens Optician, our directors will support you with that journey.

We do need you to have a few skills to get started in this role. Firstly, you’ll need a BSc (HONS) in Ophthalmic Dispensing and an excellent understanding of both the optics and audiology customer journeys. You must have excellent listening and communication skills, be passionate about providing top-notch customer service, and be a great team worker.
