More About Your Role
As a Disrepair Coordinator, you'll play a key role in managing the administration of housing disrepair and Environmental Protection Act (EPA) claims, helping to protect the business while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and court timescales. You'll manage a varied caseload, prioritising high-risk and time-sensitive claims, carrying out initial claim reviews and coordinating responses across internal teams and external partners.
- Work closely with solicitors, surveyors, contractors and operational colleagues to gather information, resolve queries and support the effective progression of claims.
- Maintain accurate case records, administer the disrepair inbox, monitor departmental KPIs and support the financial administration of claims through payment processing, invoice management and expenditure tracking.
- Use systems including SharePoint, Northgate and Impact to manage information and produce reports.
We have 2 roles available 1 permanent and 1 secondment until March 2027.
Essential Criteria
- Proven ability to manage a varied caseload and consistently meet deadlines and service level targets.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders.
- Competent user of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, with experience maintaining accurate records and case information.

- You're organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- You have a strong understanding of housing disrepair processes and relevant legislation, allowing you to review claims confidently and ensure compliance with required protocols.
- You'll be comfortable working independently, making informed decisions and identifying priorities to achieve outcomes within strict timescales.
- You'll enjoy building effective working relationships across a wide range of stakeholders and have experience collaborating with a variety of stakeholders.
- Experience within the social housing sector and working as part of a high-performing team would be beneficial, alongside strong Microsoft Office skills and the ability to maintain accurate records and financial information.
