Disrepair Protocol - monitor open works orders and make sure inspections and resulting actions
are followed through - identify and progress repairs presenting serious hazards within required
legislative timescales, supporting our operational response to Awaab’s Law - work with residents, contractors and operational teams to resolve
outstanding repairs and property issues - respond to complaints and negative feedback and help resolve quality
concerns - identify delays, trends and issues requiring escalation or service
improvement.
About you
You’ll bring property maintenance experience, preferably gained within housing
or a similar property environment, including experience of property inspection,
common property defects and working with repairs, maintenance or construction
contractors.
You’ll have experience of progressing property or repair issues through to

You’ll understand the requirements of Awaab’s Law and the importance of
recognising potential hazards, acting within statutory and service timescales

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
