Distillery Experience Host & Bartender - Part-Time - Permanent

Salford Distillery is one of the UK’s fastest-growing independent craft spirits brands, producing our award-winning range of rums and gins from our railway arch distillery in Salford.

We’re looking for a confident, enthusiastic Distillery Experience Host & Bartender to join our small team. You’ll host guests at our popular Distillery Experiences, serve cocktails at events and help bring the Salford Distillery story to life.

WORKING HOURS & LOCATION

Contracted to 10 hours per week (Saturday 11am-9pm). Predominantly based at The Salford Distillery, with some local off-site events. Opportunities to increase hours by supporting events and other areas of the business.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Host our Rum and Gin Experiences for groups of up to 30 guests.
  • Lead guided tastings, sharing the story of Salford Distillery, the history behind our spirits and how our products are made.
  • Create a fun, welcoming and engaging atmosphere for every group.
  • Promote bottle and merchandise sales following each experience.
  • Provide bartending support at cocktail evenings and distillery events.
  • Work with the wider team to continually improve our events and customer experience.
  • Act as a passionate ambassador for the Salford Distillery brand and products.
  • Occasionally support other areas of the business, including production and order fulfilment.

Full product and hosting training will be provided, including shadowing our existing hosts.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • An interest in rum, gin, craft spirits and distilling.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Previous experience in hospitality or in a customer facing role.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • You must be 18+ to apply.

PAY & COMPANY PACKAGE

  • £13.50 per hour plus tips.
