Senior Investment Professional Opportunity in London
Our client, a top-performing and highly regarded credit fund, are seeking a senior hire for their Opportunistic Credit investment team in London.
Our client has a lengthy track record investing across global event-driven credit, distressed, and special situations investing, having built a leading platform spanning portfolio management, research, trading, and business development.
Following a number of years of strong performance and AUM growth, the fund is now looking to hire a senior individual to play a crucial role as it pushes further into both liquid and illiquid credit opportunities.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior investment professional to play a key role in the ongoing success and growth of an already prominent fund, backed by increasing AUM inflows and significant investment and leadership responsibility.

The Role
The role will focus on:
- Originating, analysing, and executing investments across public and private markets
- Stressed, distressed, and special situations investing, particularly within active restructuring, complex, and/or private situations
- Furthering the fund's sourcing network to originate such opportunities, from restructuring advisors, bank desks/workout groups, insolvency practitioners, and legal groups, whilst also expanding the firm's network with other funds for co-investment opportunities
- Investing across the capital structure in bonds, loans, CDS, re-org equities, claims, liquidations, etc.
- Supporting the senior leadership team on fundraising, mentoring, and trading

Requirements
The client will therefore expect the ideal candidate to be a senior investment professional at Director, Managing Director, or Partner-level who can demonstrate:
- A strong track record across distressed, event-driven, or special situations credit investing
- Experience originating and executing complex, less-liquid investment opportunities
- Proven leadership capability, with experience building and managing investment teams
