The Opportunity

What happens when your data grows 100x? This is an opportunity to join a high-growth AI company building the core infrastructure behind a data-intensive AI platform. The engineering team is responsible for the systems that store, index, query and process massive amounts of multimodal data — including video, images, 3D sensor data and documents. This is a role for engineers who enjoy solving difficult problems around scale, performance, reliability and distributed systems. You’ll have significant ownership, taking projects from architecture and design through to implementation, deployment, monitoring and optimisation.

What You'll Be Working On

  • Designing and building distributed systems at scale
  • Developing high-performance data infrastructure
  • Building storage, indexing and querying systems
  • Designing performant APIs and protocols
  • Working with databases, caching, queues and replication
  • Solving problems around scalability, consistency and reliability
  • Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks
  • Making architectural decisions for systems designed to scale significantly
  • Improving engineering standards through code reviews, testing and knowledge sharing

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
