Serving over 330,000 rightsholders and leveraging a copyright database comprising 55 million musical works, ICE Services’ operations touch 250+ territories to distribute more than €1bn in royalties per year, with a total of over €5bn distributed to date.
We’re based in the UK, Germany, and Sweden.
About the Role
To deliver tasks and processes in support of ICE Services’ critical monthly financial distribution service to its customers; includes planning, scheduling and completion of quality control checks on all distributions.
Please note that this is a temporary position, limited to a 1-year contract. We are looking forward to welcoming someone who can start as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead in ICE Services commitments to its customers for the distribution of online royalties, including reconciling system output and quality control checks.
- Review of distribution schedules, completing specific checks and reconciliations to a high degree of accuracy.
- Reconciliation, review and clear down of balance sheet accounts relating to Royalty Creditors.
- Assist with Customer queries relating on monthly distributions.
- Completing reconciliations for distribution accounts and adhering to strict deadlines.
- Reviewing bank payment files and completing specific checks for both accuracy and unusual activity.
- Reviewing distribution schedules, completing specific checks and reconciliations to a high degree of accuracy.
- Communicating issues to the Finance Director/Senior Finance Analyst and liaising with support teams as and when required.
- Preparing finance journals as and when required.
- Supporting team in completion of year end and internal audit requests.
- Ad hoc tasks, involving analysis of finance and distribution systems.

Requirements and Qualifications:
- Excellent financial modelling skills and experience.
- Excellent data gathering, reporting and analysis skills.
- Excellent excel skills – e.g. pivot tables, V-Lookups.
- Strong Stakeholder Engagement.
- Experience in the use of accounting systems and accounting principles.
- Experience with financial planning and reporting systems, such as Cognos BI would also be highly advantageous.
- Experience within an analytical role and/or high volume transactional company desirable.
- Self-motivated with good organisational and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
