What’s the opportunity?
As part of the distribution team, you’ll work with a great bunch of people with one simple aim…to get our customer’s orders to them by managing the stock in and out of the warehouse and making sure it’ll be in showroom condition when it’s placed in our customer’s homes.
What does the role involve?
- Work with the delivery teams to load and unload furniture onto our modern fleet of vehicles
- Processing orders on our in-house systems
- Prepare outbound orders for delivery to customer’s homes
- Assist with the moving, handling and storage of furniture and carpets within the warehouse
- Undertake quality inspections when needed, identifying any issues and working with the right teams to make sure the goods are delivered to customers homes in the best condition
- Working in the distribution centre to make sure it’s clean and tidy
- Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed at all times

Who are we looking for?
If you’re all about working as part of a team, helping and supporting to make sure our customers receive their product in perfect condition then you could be brilliant for the role.
Distribution Centre Operative experience can sometimes help, but personality and the ability to learn new skills is more important.
We’re looking for someone with the following qualities:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow process and procedures
- Strives to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction
- Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling as this role involves heavy lifting
- Hard working
- Team player
- Experience in a warehouse environment (desirable)
