Relm Distribution Leader

Who We Are:

Relm is a specialty insurer built for businesses shaping the future. We work with companies operating across digital assets and Web3, AI, space, fintech, biotech, and other emerging industries where traditional insurance markets can struggle to keep pace.

With teams across London, New York, Dubai, Miami, and Bermuda, we combine specialist underwriting expertise with curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to understand risks others may not.

Relm is looking for a commercially driven Distribution Leader to help accelerate our growth across the UK specialty insurance market.

This is a highly visible, market-facing role for someone who knows the UK broker landscape, understands how to turn relationships into meaningful opportunities, and wants the chance to shape distribution strategy within a fast-growing specialty insurer.

You’ll take ownership of our UK broker strategy, deepen relationships with key retail and wholesale partners, open new doors, and work closely with Underwriting to ensure we are targeting the right opportunities in the right parts of the market.

This isn’t just about maintaining relationships. We’re looking for someone who can create momentum, spot opportunity, challenge the status quo, and help position Relm as a go-to market for innovative and emerging risks.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Own and execute Relm’s UK broker strategy and coverage plan.
  • Build and deepen relationships with priority retail and wholesale brokers and producers.
  • Generate high-quality opportunities aligned with Relm’s underwriting appetite.
  • Develop new broker relationships and expand Relm’s reach across the UK market.
  • Drive opportunity flow, cross-selling, and renewal prospecting across relevant product lines.
  • Own and maintain a strong UK opportunity pipeline, ensuring clear actions, priorities, and commercial momentum.
  • Work closely with Underwriting to match broker opportunities with Relm’s appetite and capabilities.
  • Lead broker meetings, market engagement, and relevant industry events.
  • Bring market intelligence, broker feedback, and competitor insight back into the business to help shape our strategy.
  • Partner with Marketing and Underwriting on broker campaigns, product messaging, and targeted market initiatives.
  • Track distribution performance and use data to identify where we should focus, invest, and grow.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
