Up to £36,000: Dependant on experience
My client is a well-established manufacturer and distributor of bespoke products for a wide range of industry sectors. They are seeking a Distribution Supervisor to join their existing team. As a Distribution Supervisor, your role will focus on coordinating transport operations, liaising with clients and drivers, and supporting the wider Warehouse and Distribution Teams.
Distribution Supervisor Responsibilities
- Coordinate transport operations, ensuring deliveries are planned, scheduled, and completed on time.
- Promote a safe working environment by leading by example.
- Supervise drivers and assist with the warehouse team when required.
- Assist with the yearly required audits.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Assist with continuous improvement activities across the site.

Distribution Supervisor Requirements
- Previous experience working in a transport and warehouse environment is essential.
- Strong transport planning, scheduling, and coordination skills are a must.
- Must possess strong communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable with ERP and MRP systems.
- Experienced in maintaining operational records, transport documentation, and reports.
