Position Summary

To oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, providing support to team leaders to monitor staff productivity and overall warehouse efficiency. Responsible for managing and training the warehouse team across all warehousing activities.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee receiving, warehousing, and dispatch operations (raw materials and finished goods)
  • Devise targets and deadlines in line with company and customer expectations
  • Compile shift schedules, manage sickness and holiday requests, and arrange cover when needed
  • Plan workloads, allocate tasks, and monitor progress against targets
  • Brief teams on new initiatives, target changes, and company updates
  • Train and coach staff to help them achieve their professional goals
  • Ensure company standards are upheld
  • Support export distribution as and when needed
  • Monitor raw material stocks across multiple locations
  • Manage cycle counting activities across two sites
  • Take a lead role in SAP processing for all warehouse-related activities
  • Use real-time data to increase stock/pick accuracy and lower labour costs
  • Conduct performance reviews
  • Maintain safety standards, conduct risk assessments, and support HSE in ensuring staff have adequate first aid and fire training
  • Report and communicate daily performance against company KPIs
  • Carry out any other duties commensurate with the position as required
