Distribution Supervisor

We are on the lookout for a Distribution Supervisor to lead by example in maintaining Origin’s continued excellence in transporting and checking customer orders ensuring all items are ready and in full for the loading team. Rotating Shift Pattern: 6:00am–2:30pm | 2:45pm–11:15pm

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading, motivating and supporting the Distribution team to achieve daily targets.
  • Ensuring customer orders are complete, accurate and ready for dispatch on time.
  • Carrying out quality checks to ensure products are free from damage or defects before loading.
  • Coordinating the movement of products between our sites and preparing overseas shipments.
  • Supporting drivers and customers with loading and collections when required.
  • Monitoring stock locations and investigating any missing items.
  • Maintaining accurate paperwork and ensuring all documentation is completed correctly.
  • Promoting a safe working environment and ensuring Health & Safety procedures are followed.
  • Investigating service issues and working with the team to prevent repeat problems.
  • Carrying out team meetings, appraisals and supporting training and development.

  • At least two years' experience in a Team Leader or Supervisory role.
  • Experience within a warehouse, logistics, transport or distribution environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident leading and motivating a team.
  • Able to work under pressure and prioritise effectively.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • A flexible, reliable and positive approach.
