Girls U13 Lead Coach - Richmond Schools FA

About Richmond Schools FA:

Richmond Schools FA is a grassroots football association serving young players across the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. We’re committed to developing confident, technically capable footballers in a safe, inclusive and enjoyable environment, with a growing focus on the girls’ game.

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate training sessions every Friday
  • Lead the squad on Saturday matchdays, including team selection, in-game management and post-match feedback
  • Create a positive, inclusive team culture where every player feels supported and motivated
  • Support individual player development and track progress across the season
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with players and parents/carers
  • Uphold Richmond Schools FA’s safeguarding, conduct and equality standards at all times
  • Liaise with coordinators and other coaches on scheduling, fixtures and squad matters

Essential requirements:

  • UEFA C License coaching qualification or equivalent, or working towards
  • Valid FA Safeguarding Children certificate
  • Valid FA Emergency First Aid in Football certificate
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to complete one)
  • A genuine commitment to the development and wellbeing of young female players
  • Reliability and availability on Friday evenings and Saturdays throughout the season

  • UEFA B qualification
