GATEWAY UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT 2026-2027 CLASSIFIED VACANCY
This is a split position 90% Department Secretary/10% Cook Delivery (as needed)
District Department Secretary (Nutrition Services)
Shift Schedule: 6:00am - 1:12pm (1/2 hour unpaid lunch break)
SALARY: $19.76 - $28.57 per/hr
Range G 205 work days (15 District paid Holidays)
Cook/Food Delivery (0.80 hrs/day)
Shift Schedule: 1:12pm - 2:30pm
SALARY: $19.48 - $27.70 per/hr
Range F 182 work days (14 District paid Holidays)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Pass the General Clerical Exam at the 60th percentile or above. (Exam is administered by the District).
- Type 60 net words per minute on a 5-minute timed writing. (No online certificates accepted. Typing certificate must be submitted with application and may not be over one year old).

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Job Related experience is required.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
The stated education and experience requirements have been found to be a minimum requirement for successful job performance. However, relevant education, experience, certificates and/or licenses may be substitute for hiring flexibility.

PROCEDURE:
