Diversity & Inclusion Business Partner
Coventry, Hybrid, UK
We’re looking for a confident, credible and hands-on Diversity & Inclusion specialist to help shape, lead and embed our inclusion agenda across Morgan Sindall Infrastructure, supporting our wider PLACE culture approach and the behaviours we want to see every day.
This is a stand-alone role with real breadth and visibility. You’ll be the key subject matter expert for the business, partnering with senior leaders, People colleagues, projects and employee networks to turn good intent into practical action that makes a difference to how our people experience work.
We need someone who can think strategically, influence confidently and also roll their sleeves up to get things done. From shaping roadmaps, using workforce insight and advising on policy, to facilitating conversations, designing interventions and tracking impact, you’ll bring energy, pace and follow-through from idea to delivery.
What you’ll be doing
- Acting as the trusted SME for diversity, inclusion, belonging and accessibility across MSI.
- Supporting delivery of our D&I strategy, roadmap and priority action plans, making clear links with PLACE and our wider culture priorities.
- Partnering with leaders and People teams to embed inclusive practice across policy, process, culture and the employee lifecycle.
- Using data, employee voice and external good practice to identify barriers, shape solutions and measure progress.
- Designing and delivering practical interventions, workshops and engagement activity that build inclusive leadership capability.
- Working with employee networks and representative groups so colleague voice informs meaningful action.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
