Job Title: Divisional Commercial Director – Commercial Retrofit

The Company

The Shore Group is partnering with a market-leading £200m+ Tier 1 contractor to appoint a Divisional Commercial Director to play a pivotal role in the next phase of their growth.

With an outstanding reputation for delivering complex commercial refurbishment, retrofit and cut & carve projects across London, the business continues to secure high-profile schemes for leading developers, occupiers and institutional clients.

As the division continues to grow, they are seeking an exceptional commercial leader to take ownership of commercial strategy, performance and team development across a portfolio of technically challenging projects ranging from £40m-£70m+.

This is a rare opportunity to join a highly respected contractor in a role that combines divisional leadership, strategic influence and the autonomy to make a genuine impact on the future direction of the business.

The Role

You will take full commercial ownership of a thriving division, leading commercial teams across multiple projects while driving profitability, risk management and operational excellence.

You will play a central role in shaping business strategy, influencing project selection, strengthening client relationships and ensuring the successful delivery of some of London's most complex office retrofit and refurbishment schemes.

As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will work closely with operational, pre-construction and delivery functions to support growth while maintaining the high standards and reputation the business has become known for.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
