We offer a wide range of new and used equipment to the construction industry, including tower cranes, construction hoists, scaffolding, safety fences, concrete formwork, and architectural specialties.

Role: Divisional Controller
Responsibilities

Financial Leadership & Reporting
- Lead accounting departments (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Sales Tax, Accounting).
- Prepare financial statements and consolidated reporting for Head Office.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP (ASPE), corporate policies, and external audit requirements.
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis
- Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Provide variance analysis, financial insights, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making, capital investments, and growth opportunities.

Internal Controls & Compliance
- Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls, policies, and accounting procedures.
- Manage and oversee external audits and government reporting requirements.
- Ensure adherence to sales tax legislation and other reporting requirements.

Systems, Processes & Expansion
- Implement accounting system changes and improve existing processes.
- Partner with operations leadership to integrate technology and reporting tools across departments.

Capital & Asset Management
- Manage capital expenditures, fixed assets, and inventory controls.
- Monitor cash flow and financial risk management.

Strategic Leadership & Partnership
- Provide financial and strategic input on business planning, operations, and growth initiatives.

People Leadership
- Manage, train, mentor, and develop a growing accounting team.
- Foster a high-performance, collaborative team culture.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive and relevant experience.
- CPA designation.
- Strong accounting background with in-depth experience in ASPE and/or IFRS.
- Public accounting experience is an asset.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
- Well-organized, proactive, and detail-oriented individual able to self-manage and work as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Highly technical accountant with strong attention to detail and the ability to offer process improvements and innovative solutions.

Compensation
- Salary range: $110,000 - $150,000.
