🚀 Divisional Director - Repairs & Maintenance

Are you an experienced senior leader within the Repairs & Maintenance sector looking for an opportunity to shape the future of a growing business?
At Liberty, we're looking for an exceptional Divisional Director to oversee a mixed portfolio of 2 to 3 contracts, driving outstanding operational performance while building and nurturing long-term client relationships. This is a strategic leadership role for someone who can balance commercial success, operational excellence, and customer-focused delivery.
🏆 About The Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll take full ownership of a significant Repairs & Maintenance portfolio, ensuring contracts are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably. You'll be responsible for developing strong partnerships with our clients, identifying opportunities for growth, and leading high-performing teams that consistently deliver excellent results.
This role is about much more than contract management. It's about creating lasting relationships, influencing strategic direction, and positioning Liberty as the partner of choice across the sector.
🔧 What You'll Be Doing
🌟 Strategic Leadership
- Develop and deliver the divisional strategy in line with wider business objectives.
- Drive sustainable growth through new opportunities, partnerships, and innovation.
- Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery and customer experience.
🤝 Client Relationship Management
- Lead and nurture relationships across a portfolio of 2-3 key client contracts.
- Act as a trusted partner to clients, ensuring exceptional service and long-term retention.
- Represent Liberty in client steering groups, industry forums, and strategic discussions.
📈 Operational & Commercial Excellence
- Oversee the successful delivery of repairs and maintenance contracts across the portfolio.
- Maintain the highest standards of health, safety, compliance, and performance.
- Hold full accountability for divisional budgets, profitability, forecasting, and financial performance.
- Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency across services.

✅ What We're Looking For
We're seeking a proven leader with:
- Significant senior leadership experience within the Repairs & Maintenance sector.
- A strong track record of delivering operational excellence across large-scale contracts.
- Experience managing full P&L responsibility and driving commercial performance.
- Exceptional stakeholder and client relationship management skills.
- Strong strategic planning and business development capabilities.
- A passion for developing people and creating high-performing teams.
- A thorough understanding of industry regulations, compliance requirements, and market dynamics.
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience (desirable).
