Denholm Industrial Group is seeking to appoint a Divisional Finance Director to join the Board and Senior Leadership Team and play a pivotal role in driving the next phase of our growth and development.
About the Role
Part of the privately owned Denholm Group, we operate within one of the UK's most respected and diversified industrial organisations. With more than 160 years of heritage, the wider Group generates revenues in excess of £0.5 billion and employs over 1,700 people across its Shipping, Logistics, Seafoods and Industrial Services divisions.
Generating revenues of approximately £130 million, Denholm Industrial Group delivers five critical service lines: Access, Surface Preparation, Thermal Insulation, Industrial Cleaning, and Roofing & Cladding. Through our core businesses, Denholm Industrial Services and Weatherproofing Advisors (WPA), we support customers across the Marine, Access, Power and Infrastructure sectors throughout the UK.
About You
As we enter an exciting stage of development, supported by a strong balance sheet and the backing of the wider Denholm Group, we are pursuing a strategy of organic growth alongside targeted acquisitions. As part of a planned succession process, and in anticipation of the retirement of our current Divisional Finance Director, we are seeking an outstanding finance leader to help shape the future of the division.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Divisional Managing Director, the Divisional Finance Director will provide strategic financial leadership across the business, leading the finance function while enhancing commercial performance and supporting key growth initiatives. As a member of the Board and Senior Leadership Team, you will play a central role in strengthening operational decision-making, supporting acquisition activity, driving improvements in reporting and systems, and helping to deliver the division's strategic objectives.
Requirements
We are looking for an engaging and commercially minded finance leader, qualified at ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent, with experience operating within a project-led and operationally intensive environment. Experience within industrial services, engineering, construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, energy, marine, or similarly complex sectors would be advantageous.

The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise with commercial acumen and the ability to influence at Board level. Equally important is a pragmatic, hands-on approach and a leadership style that aligns with the values, culture and long-term ambitions of our business.
What We Offer
Based at our Yeovil headquarters, the role will involve occasional travel to other UK sites as required. A market-leading remuneration package is available, together with relocation support for the right individual where required.
