Job Title: Divisional Finance Director
Location: Southampton (Hybrid)
Eton Bridge Partners is supporting a private equity-backed business services group in the appointment of a Finance Director for one of its operating companies.
Reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with the Group CFO, this role will play a key part in driving the next phase of growth. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to influence business strategy, improve operational performance and support acquisition activity within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
This is a highly visible role suited to a commercially minded finance leader who enjoys working closely with operational stakeholders and contributing beyond the boundaries of finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner the Managing Director to drive business performance and strategic decision-making.
- Provide commercial insight and challenge to support growth and profitability.
- Lead and develop the finance team.
- Own budgeting, forecasting and business planning processes.
- Drive improvements in reporting, visibility and decision-support information.
- Support acquisition activity and integration of acquired businesses.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies and business performance.
- Lead strategic projects, transformation initiatives and process improvement programmes.
- Act as a key member of the leadership team, helping shape the direction of the business.
- Ensure robust financial controls, governance and risk management frameworks remain in place.

Candidate Profile:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Strong commercial acumen and an ability to influence stakeholders across the business.
- Broad finance leadership experience covering business partnering, planning, performance management and financial control.
- Comfortable operating in a hands-on environment and leading through change.
- Experience within a private equity-backed, acquisitive or high-growth business would be advantageous.
- Exposure to M&A, business integration or transformation projects is desirable.
- Ambitious, pragmatic and capable of operating as a trusted adviser to senior leadership.
- Facilities management experience is not essential but would be preferred.
